It is relatively easy to get caught in the vortex of negativity. I know it is not easy to escape, but you must try. The first thing you must do is create an atmosphere of positivity. You know when you are in a gloomy atmosphere because the people around you are working hard to keep you in there. When you smile, they asked you a question like, why are you smiling? What is so funny, or there is nothing happy about today. It would be best if you avoid these people at all costs.
It would be best if you were in your happy place.
Every Saturday, one of my joys is meeting with my friends, including my partner here at Infinite Blue Ocean, Steve. Both Steve and I have a tremendous positive mental attitude, and Steve assists me in maintaining mine. We religiously meet every Saturday except for major holidays. I always come away with happiness, and I feel that everything in the world is possible because I have surrounded a buying that attitude.
The first thing we need to do is take inventory of who are positive people in our lives. Take a piece of paper on one side of the paper, write positive on the other side write negative. Make a list of all the positive people that you know. They smile when it is raining. They overcome adversity easily, and nothing seems to bother them. On the other side of the paper, list your negative friends full of drama and see gloom and doom at every turn.
It should be easy to determine who is positive and negative. You do not have to announce that you are cutting negative people out of your life. Please do it. Please do not go on social media and proclaimed that you had done it. There is no need. Just stop communicating with negative people. The results will astonish you.
