Being in the zone is where you are due for a week in another place mentally, and you are making decisions quickly and accurately. Your focused mind is on task, and your productivity is skyrocketing. These moments are called “In the Zone.” You cannot see any distractions or adversities. You only see what is possible, and your thoughts are on fire.
When we are trying to get to that point where you are In Your Zone, you will encounter resistance both internally and externally. The point of staying in the zone is a very elusive and difficult thing to maintain. I delight when I am In The Zone, and I am very protective of my surroundings when I am In The Zone. I would say 80% of the time, we get in our way to stay In The Zone.
Remaining In the Zone
Here are some tips on how to keep yourself in the zone:
- Keep your thoughts pure and positive
- Keep yourself in positive growth for thinking environment
- Avoid the news and negative social media
- Avoid consistently and perpetual negativity from other people
- Avoid alcohol and other mind-altering substances
The last one is the most important because drinking alcohol affects the mind. Often, we make the mistake of drinking alcohol as a reward for being In The Zone. It does the exact opposite by taking you out of the zone.
